*OK PEOPLE WHO ARE FOLLOWING ME..READ HIS RESPONSE HERE!*
1. thats a very ‘unaware’ definition of fascism, yes that merger is a core pillar of fascism but it is not the definition of fascism, there is a separate term for the merger which escapes me atm lol. there are several definitions to fascism- the one you provide is valid, and can be accepted. What’s the worst holocaust in human history ?
If that’s not the definition of fascism, which it is, then what is your definition of fascism? A kinder word meaning the exact same thing is corporatism. Again, we’ve had that for a long time in this country too. Naomi Klein has a chapter in The Shock Doctrine called “The Corporatist State” which you should read.
The worst holocaust in history, which is still continuing, is the American holocaust.
2. the vast majority of political scientists subscribe to the idea that state cannot be “terrorist”,
Cite any. Even if their were political scientists who claim states can’t be terroristic, they have no idea where the word came from. It comes the French revolution. The Reign of Terror, in which the French state committed terrorism. Even Peace and Conflict studies courses teach about state terrorism, or “terrorism from above”. You’re making claims that lack evidence.
its just not possible terrorist states dont exist; if the definition did include states then yes we would be a terrorist state form one view or another along with every other state on the planet.
Fair enough. But the United States is the greatest terrorist state in existence today and ever.
“the US is the most terrorist country to have ever existed”. You fail in your argument here. you don’t seperate the goals of each of the historical events you say. If it is a war, the goal is to win, by killing the other nations soldiers etc. If civilians are killed in the process, thats a casualty. They are not the target.
The United States has intentionally targeted civilian populations for elimination since its inception. All you have to do to see this is watch the footage of missiles bombing densely populated urban centers in 2003 in Bagdad during the nighttime in Operation Shock and Awe or during broad daylight in Palestine in 2008 during Operation Cast Lead. If you are honest and include structural violence, specifically economic sanctions, then it’s even worse. If you know anything about the history of Iraq, you’ll see what I mean. Civilians were and are unequivocally the target over and over again. The corporate media and fascist ideology prevents people like you from seeing, or caring about, hundreds of thousands brown children dying, or being torn to pieces, by the country you so desperately love and adore.
The Romans enslaved and crucified peoples. Its war, death is going to happen. The Egyptians enslaved the Jews. The crusaders murdered thousands of Muslims. The Muslims murdered thousands of Christians. The Japanese exterminated the Chinese plenty of times in history on their incursions into the mainland. The Cold war included the US funding Guerilla groups which committed terrorist atrocities. The US did turn its eye away from the countless deaths that occurred in central America. However, the Vietnam War, Korean War were all wars, in which case terrorism does not apply.
You have got to be joking. Do you know how many people, civilians, the United States intentionally targeted in all those wars? Do you know what happened? Do you read the details of how many different ways a human body can be torn apart in the most gruesome, sadistic ways? You don’t know the history enough. I can show you some of the worst I know, if you want.
If Civilians die in a war its a casualty.
Then you have just rationalized the attacks in the United States on 11 September 2001.
The atomic bombs were necessary implement because the US was fighting a country that bombed its citizens/soldiers at Pearl Harbor.
This is a myth. Dropping those bombs, especially the second one in Nagasaki, were acts of terrorism in there ever were any. Why didn’t they bomb a military base? The Japanese didn’t strike civilian centers in Honolulu the way the US did in either Hiroshima or Nagasaki. The death toll isn’t even close to the same. And what do you have to say about the intentional firebombings of Japan by the United States? 100,000 Japanese barbecued in Tokyo in one night. Intentional terrorism upon civilians. Can you imagine? One hundred thousand dead, crispy people? Mothers? Children? The elderly? Hard-working people? Just like you, or me? Torched. If you honestly believe that it was necessary, you aren’t even a real Christian because you have learned nothing from the Gospels or his teachings. Shit.
In addition, this war included the Japanese people, who were willing to sacrifice their own lives (Kamikaze).
Against military targets. Name one US city where the Japanese intentionally targeted civilians.
It was either invade Japan and lose countless soldiers, or use our power and make them surrender. Its a tough decision, however, we chose to protect our soldiers. I can tell you that our leaders did not want to exterminate thousands of lives, but they were not going to sacrifice their soldiers when they didn’t have too. That’s not terrorism, its war.
Then the actions of 11 September 2001 wasn’t terrorism.
So you’re an idiot on that point. Another point you don’t realize is that the US doesn’t want to kill these innocent people.
HAHAHAHAHA
Think about it, what good would the US gain from inciting violence in a region (middle east) that already hates us?
CERTAINLY NOT OIL. HAHAHAHAHA
Yes, innocent civilians do get killed, but that doesnt mean the US is employing terrorism.
Not even when it’s intentional, guys!
When employing terrorism, the goal is to target civilians.
Exactly. Heavily bombing a defenseless city in the nighttime is probably the most visual act of terrorism in modern history. You just eliminated your argument.
That is not the US goal, as they need the help of the citizens in the middle east to capture al queda operatives, and aid in the development of a democratic state.
If that were true, which it is not, the US would not be close allies with Saudi Arabia (a dictatorship) which happens to have close ties to the Republican Party and is where all the 19 hijackers came from. If it were true, the United States would be a democracy. Egypt would be a democracy. Before the US invaded Iraq in the 1990’s, it would have not given Hussein the gas he used to kill all those people in Halabja and still support him. If that were true, the United States’ CIA would have not created al-Qaeda.
Therefore I argue that thought the war in the Middle East was wrongly fought, its goal was not to kill innocent civilians.
Your argument is based on myth, lies and denial: the perfect genocidal mentality.
Basically what you’re saying is whenever a country kills civilians (whether in war or not) it is terrorism. You’re wrong, terrorism includes the goal of targeting citizens. That is not the US’ goal. It is an effect.
Huh? Terrorism is an effect of the US’s goal? What is the goal of the US, then? Democracy? Then define democracy. Training death squads, bombing civilians, and torturing people to death is not democracy in action.
3. ”The us was created for rich white men to rule and own”. Yea that makes a lot of dam sense. you really start to argue off of emotion here.
It’s fact. Read Madison in the Constitutional Conventions.
The US was created out of a need for a country where religion, point of views (such as yours, though i think you should be deported and forced to live in an area where we can bomb the crap out of you)
Which would constitute terrorism, which you would support. How funny is it that you support bombing people who are probably look most like Jesus Christ and are more closely related to him than you. I think that says something. It proves your fascist, genocidal mentality. You only want people who think like you, and you’d love to bomb the rest.
and other freedoms can be expressed. It is clear the Capitalism, though no the perfect answer, is the best answer for an economy.
Too bad we’ve never had capitalism, ever.
I wont give reasons why, its too long, google it yourself. But if you needs to know why this country was created read the declaration of independence, and the constitution.
I have read both. Thanks. Have you read the Bill of Rights? Or the tiny line in the constitution where it says that any treaties signed by the United States become ‘supreme law of the land’, that is, part of the constitution? Do you understand that this includes the United Nations articles? Do you understand what laws have been written which have shredded the constitution? Do you understand anything about COINTELPRO, or FISA, or the 1996 Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act, or the USA PATRIOT Act, or the Supreme Court ruling of 21 January this year? The Military Commissions Act of 2006? Or the Defense Authorization Act of 2007? My guess is not so much.
4. you state all the bad things, but let me state the good things. The freedoms we enjoy here.
Which were won through the blood and sweat of activists through hard struggle.
The amount of aid the US has given other countries throughout time (whether for their own interests doesnt matter, it allowed other economies to grow), the creation of the United Nations (an organization set in order to have laws by which all countries abide) etc.
Two myths. Again, the United States violates international law all the time. The Nuremberg Principles are a joke.
We are trying to take positive steps toward bettering ourselves, and living according to law.
By breaking the law, invading defenseless countries, killing millions of innocents andstripping whatever freedoms the United States did have away? Does the Magna Carta mean anything to you? If so, you might want to ask Bush for it back.
It is because of our country and law, that men are held accountable for their actions.
Then why aren’t Bush et al. dead or in prison? Why are people like Lynne Stewart in prison and Jon Yoo free? This country is unjust in all that matters.
Yes, many get away, but there are people in the US dedicated to exposing the truth.
No. It’s not. Never has. That’s why you believe what you say. Their lies have worked. I feel so bad for you, genuinely, because it’s all lies.
And there have been those sent to prison for prisoner abuse etc. Those soldiers in Vietnam who killed the whole village were subject to the law here, and paid their price. Furthermore, the US saved the world from a dictator who was bent on exterminating everyone who was not his perfect race.
What about the US corporations who profited from the nazi holocaust? IBM? Exxon? Ford?
Yes, we were protecting ourselves, but we sacrificed our men. We did not want to join the war, but when we were bombed by terrorist (according to you, the Japanese) we were forced to enter.
Bombing military bases is not terrorism.
FASCISM HAS NOT MADE the US what it is today.
Oh. My bad. Colonialism has. Ask Hawai’i. Ask a native American. Ask a black person why they’re in this country. As a Mexican why California is part of the United States. Ask a Puerto Rican. Ask Cuba what they think of Batista. Ask Diego Garcians what they think of their homeland being used as the largest US military base in the world. Ask a Haitian if they’d like Aristide back. Ask a Chilean what they think of Pinochet. Ask an Indonesian what they think of Suharto. Ask a Philippino what they think of Marcos. Ask a Romani what they think of Ceauşescu. Ask an Iraqi what they think of Huissen. Ask an Afghani what they think of the Taliban. Ask an Iranian what they think of the Shah. Ask an Argentinian what they think of the regime that overthrew Perón, or a Brazilian what they think of the regime that overthrew Goulart. Ask a Honduran what they think of Micheletti.
Im sure there are plenty of other variables involved in that.
Which you fail to mention because you’re unaware of them. You’re a victim of lies, so I have sympathy for you. That’s a major thing the so-called left in the US doesn’t have for Tea Partiers: compassion. It’s tragic to see you all shoot yourselves in the foot because you’ve been manipulated and abused. But that doesn’t mean you can’t and don’t pose threats which must be dealt with.
You have such a closed mind that you’re only focusing on the evil the US has committed but don’t even explore the positives the US has created.
I would love to see the United States actually care about democracy and justice. There’s nothing I’d love to see more that a complete reversal of its terrible history.
There is a reason Mexicans want to cross the border, its because they know they can have a better life here
That or the border crossed them.
5. I can say there are many events in our history im not proud of 1. taking the indians land 2. massacre at el mozote and other cold war events 3. The recent war and its agenda.
That’s good. That means you have a heart. That means you have potential.
But I can tell you im proud to live in country of freedom and that trys its best to live according to the Law.
That is mythology. We have a lot of freedom here, but that’s all being circumvented and cut. It has been for a long time because the people that own and control this country hate democracy and freedom.
You dont seem proud, and if so, I say why the hell should our soldiers fight for you?
They’re fighting for me? They must really, really suck at their jobs then. I want to know why Cheney, Rice, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, Tenet and Powell and the rest are still alive. The troops are so fired.
I’d attach you to a missile and use you as fireworks.
Which you’d love to see hit an apartment filled with families, no doubt.
Its people like you that give the US a bad name.
Wrong. it’s the United States’ behavior which give it a bad name. That’s like saying if I were to rape you, you calling me a rapist would be giving me a bad name and not the fact that I raped you.
I can understand someone respectfully scolding the US past actions, but you seem to just paint the US as the devil.
Have you ever considered that maybe ‘the devil’ has manipulated you into believing the things you do? That maybe something isn’t right with this picture that’s so popular in the United States? Like, why is Jesus Christ portrayed as white? Why doesn’t anyone take the Gospels seriously? Why would a ‘loving’ god be for bombing the fuck out of people in any way? There’s something massively confusing and contradictory in all of it. You must doubt that shit. Doubt it. Doubting is critical thinking.
Go join AL Queda or something so we can kill you, maybe abuse you in jail. I’d agree with that.
Do you understand that the US military rapes women, men and children in its secret prisons? Do you know the US military rapes women with broken bottles? Do you know what it does? Do you know the US-trained death squads in Latin America have cut out the wombs of women and put them over their heads as masks? Think of that next time you are preparing chicken and feel the looseness of its cut, dead skin. Think of that next time you look at yourself naked in the mirror. Mutilated bodies.
It’s very demonic.
6. And your last comment is just sad…extremely sad…
If your god condones that level of violence and lies about it, then he can and will be destroyed. The whole ‘thou shall have no other gods’ bullshit ain’t scaring me. Your god sucks.
