The only relatable thing I have with those people is probably class and our queer identities.
What makes them a class enemy though is that the US military has never been, is not and will never be used for justice or freedom. It is at its core the single most destructive institution on the planet. The US is also the only state found guilty of international terrorism. Those queer people in the military are not my brothers nor sisters—they are the enemy.
